Huntley Wedding: Matt + Alex

"I hope it snows for her wedding, she loves the snow." Alex's sister said this to me the week before her wedding and sure enough, we saw the first real snowfall here in the midwest within a few days. Saturday was beautiful with a lovely white blanket and the sun shining. It was such a perfect background to celebrate their love.

Alex and Matt, I hope your first week of marriage has been simply wonderful. More so, I hope every week after is even better!! Thank you so very much for choosing me to be a part of your special day. It was truly such an honor. I wish you guys nothing but pure joy in your new life together as husband and wife. :)

Alex and her bridesmaids started the day by getting ready at Elle Salon.

Loved her sparkly touches!

The guys were totally calm before the wedding started. If Matt was nervous, he didn't show it at all.
Alex's mom, Rikki, asked me to come snap a few photos of her helping Alex's dad getting ready.  These two are adorable and some of the most fun people I have ever met.
I love when the bride first puts on her dress. All smiles.
The wedding was held at St. Mary's church in Huntley, IL.
After the ceremony, we braved the cold for a few pictures outside and I am so glad we did!
Gorgeous.
You might have noticed that Matt is a little taller than Alex. But they are all the cuter for it. When they would kiss, Matt simply lifted her off her feet.
Did I mention that Alex's parents were fun? Because they are. And her dad brought all that fun to the dance floor.

I'll finish off with this image. Congratulations you two!
