Amber + Jeff

So much for staying on track with my blog! I'm afraid there are going to many posts about me "starting fresh" or "doing it for real this time!" I'm trying... I'd like to say that now that my wedding is done and my life is starting to develop a new "normal", I might actually be able to be more consistent with this thing, but I'm not making any promises. :)

For now, check out this beautiful wedding. Amber is a dear friend of mine from church and I was so honored to be able to capture this special day for her. I have never seen a bride more excited than Amber was to marry Jeff. Seriously, she was giddy! Her happiness was transcendent throughout the entire day and it was such a joy to witness the love they have for each other. Its evident to me that God is going to do a special work through the two of them together. I can't wait to see what that is!

Thank you Amber and Jeff for allowing me to be a part of your day!

Amber and Jeff opted for a "First Look" which I love because it allowed us so much extra time for pictures! They were so excited to see each other.

How stunning is she??!

I think they were singing "going to the chapel" here. And it was literally right before they walked down the isle.

I loved this light. It was truly a perfect day for a wedding.

whew....

Dear Bloggity Blog,

What the heck is my problem? It has been faaaaarr too long since I've written. If I were to make up an excuse it would be that I've been busy. But I don't think that is ever a good excuse because I would use it all the time. There is always something going on or something else that needs to be done and yada yada yada. Anyway, enough. And even though it isn't an excuse, I have been busy.

So, to somehow try to "catch up," this post is going to be my most recent wedding. And then I'm going to work backwards for a bit to be sure to include everything from (ahem) march, until now. Whew... bear with me.

Meet Erin and Michael. This wedding was a little extra special because Erin is now the wife of my fiance's cousin. Yes, I did try to make that as confusing as possible. Basically, Michael and John are cousins and once John and I are married in August, I will be Erin's cousin-in-law. Woot! The day was very special and I couldn't be happier for these two. Erin was so unbelievably calm about the whole day and Michael was just completely thrilled to be married. I am so excited that these two are and will be a part of my life. My bet is that I'll be taking pictures of their kiddos before I take pictures of my own. ;) Love you guys!
